About the Role

We are seeking an experienced RF Spatial Engineer on behalf of a key client of ours to help design, develop, and validate advanced RF and microwave subsystems supporting mission-critical aerospace, defense, and satellite communication applications.
This position offers the opportunity to work across the complete product lifecycle, from architecture and simulation through hardware validation, integration, manufacturing support, and production deployment. The ideal candidate will bring strong RF engineering expertise combined with hands-on experience in microwave design, simulation, testing, and system optimization.
Key Responsibilities

Design innovative quasi-optical and spatial power-combining architectures.
Perform RF, microwave, and electromagnetic simulations using tools such as ADS, AWR, HFSS, and CST.
Design and optimize RF/microwave circuits and subsystems, including:
Power Amplifiers
Frequency Converters
Synthesizers
Filters
Mixers
T/R Modules
Evaluate and select RF components for high-power, high-reliability applications.
Develop and execute RF test plans and validation procedures.
Configure and utilize RF measurement equipment including Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, and Oscilloscopes.
Characterize hardware performance including gain, efficiency, output power, noise figure, linearity, stability, and thermal behavior.
Support prototype development, design reviews, manufacturability assessments, and new product introduction (NPI) activities.
Collaborate closely with mechanical, thermal, manufacturing, quality, and systems engineering teams.
Troubleshoot design, testing, reliability, and production issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare technical documentation, test reports, engineering analyses, and manufacturing support materials.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Microwave Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years of direct RF and microwave hardware design experience.
Hands-on experience designing, simulating, testing, and validating RF/microwave circuits and subsystems.
Proficiency with one or more RF simulation tools:
HFSS
CST
ADS
AWR
Experience using RF test equipment including VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, and Power Meters.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience within Aerospace, Defense, Radar, Satellite Communications, or Electronic Warfare (EW) programs.
Familiarity with high-power RF systems and microwave architectures.
Experience with phased arrays, beamforming systems, or advanced RF subsystems.
Understanding of manufacturing support and production environments.
What You'll Gain

Opportunity to work on cutting-edge RF and microwave technologies.
Exposure to advanced aerospace, defense, and satellite communication systems.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Strong opportunities for technical growth and career advancement.
Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
