About the Job

We are hiring for a Senior RF Design Engineer role with a leading engineering organization focused on Aerospace and Defence solutions. The role involves designing and developing RF subsystems, working across RF hardware, system design, testing, integration, and qualification.
You will work on RF systems involving TR modules, power amplifiers, synthesizers, converters, filters, and RADAR subsystems, while collaborating closely with Digital Hardware, FPGA, Software, Mechanical, and PCB teams.

Responsibilities
Design and develop RF subsystems and modules, including module-level architectures.
Perform frequency planning, power budget analysis, and compliance against specifications and requirements.
Create and review RF module architectures, schematics, and project documentation.
Create schematics using OrCAD Capture.
Guide the PCB team on RF PCB layout and routing.
Perform RF testing, integration, and system qualification.
Collaborate with Digital Hardware, FPGA RTL, Software, and Mechanical teams during the design lifecycle.
Prepare design reviews, test procedures, ATP/QTP, and other project documentation.
Support RF validation and measurements including Harmonics, IP3, Noise Figure, Gain, P1dB, and VSWR.

Requirements
Strong experience in RF hardware and RF system design.
Hands-on experience in TR Module Design, CW/Pulsed Power Amplifier Design, Synthesizer Design, and Up/Down Converter Design.
Experience with Lumped and Distributed Element Filter Design.
Good understanding of RF components such as PLL, LNA, Mixer, PA, Filters, Couplers, and RF Switches.
Understanding of power-management components such as LDOs and Buck Converters.
Experience with RF measurement techniques including Harmonics, IP3, Noise Figure, Gain, P1dB, and VSWR.
Hands-on experience with Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), Power Meter, and Signal Generator.
Experience with RF simulation/design tools such as ADS, AWR, and HFSS.
Experience in RADAR subsystem/system design.
Experience guiding/managing a team of 2+ Engineers / Design & Senior Design Engineers.
