In this role, you will design and develop automated test solutions, define test strategies, execute and analyze RF test cases, and work closely with engineering teams to ensure products meet performance, reliability, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement RF ATE test strategies, methodologies, and test plans for semiconductor devices.
Design, develop, debug, and maintain automated test programs and test environments.
Develop and execute RF characterization, functional, performance, and production test cases.
Program and optimize Advantest V93K systems with the Wavescale option using the SmarTest 8 environment.
Analyze test data, identify failures and trends, and recommend corrective actions.
Perform RF measurements and characterization using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and related equipment.
Collaborate with design, validation, applications, firmware, product, and manufacturing engineering teams to define test requirements.
Develop automated solutions to improve test coverage, test efficiency, accuracy, and production throughput.
Support device bring-up, characterization, qualification, and production ramp activities.
Troubleshoot complex RF, analog, digital, and system-level issues.
Develop and maintain test software and automation frameworks.
Support continuous improvement of ATE hardware, software, test methodologies, and production processes.
Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and analysis of test results.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other RF test engineers as applicable.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in ATE test engineering or a closely related semiconductor test role.
5+ years of hands-on experience developing test programs on Advantest V93K with Wavescale.
Strong experience with the SmarTest 8 test development environment.
5+ years of RF testing and characterization experience.
Strong understanding of communications theory, RF fundamentals, and signal processing.
Experience with analog electronics and electrical systems.
Proficiency using RF and electronic test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Hands-on experience with communication and high-speed interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet, PCI/PCIe, SerDes, and FPGA-based systems.
Strong programming skills in Java; experience with Python or R is a plus.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
