We are seeking a top-tier RF / Microwave Engineer to take ownership of complex, high-
performance RF systems across defense, aerospace, and space applications. This is
not a support role, this is a technical leadership position with real authority, visibility, and
impact.
You will work directly with executive leadership, influence product direction, and lead the
development of RF solutions where performance, reliability, and innovation are non-
negotiable.

End-to-End RF System Leadership
Architect and lead development of RF/microwave systems across 100 MHz to
20+ GHz
Own designs from concept → architecture → simulation → layout → test →
production
Drive performance in real-world environments, not just theory
Advanced RF Design Responsibility
Design RF subsystems including:
High-performance amplifiers (MMIC & discrete, GaN/GaAs/Si)
Filters, mixers, frequency conversion chains
Transceivers and integrated RF modules
Power levels from low noise to 50W+ and beyond
Optimize for size, weight, thermal, and manufacturability constraints
Technical Authority & Leadership
Serve as lead engineer / technical decision-maker on programs
Mentor and elevate engineering team capability
Drive design reviews, trade studies, and risk mitigation
Work directly with the President, program leadership, and lab/test teams
Customer & Proposal Engagement
Play a key role in winning business, not just executing it
Engage with customers on technical solutions and architecture
Lead technical proposal content for DoD and commercial programs

What You Bring
Experience
8–15+ years of hands-on RF/microwave design experience
Proven track record delivering real hardware, not just analysis
Technical Depth
Deep expertise in RF/microwave circuit and subsystem design
Strong experience with:
MMIC and discrete RF design
GaN, GaAs, and silicon technologies
High-frequency PCB design and layout interaction
Experience across full development lifecycle
Tools & Capabilities
Proficiency with tools such as ADS, SPICE, MATLAB, HFSS, CST, or equivalent
Experience guiding or executing PCB layout for RF designs
Familiarity with embedded systems / control is a plus
Mindset
You take ownership and drive decisions, not wait for them
You thrive in environments where speed and accountability matter
You can communicate effectively with both engineers and executives
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship required (no exceptions)
BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred
