Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Radar Software Engineer to support a federal partner located in Moorestown, NJ. The Radar Software Engineer will design, develop, and optimize real-time radar software systems, working closely with cross‑functional engineering teams in a secure environment supporting complex electronic defense systems.
Responsibilities of the Radar Software Engineer include:
Design, develop, debug, and test real-time, multi-processor software systems
Implement back-end software solutions using Object-Oriented Modern C++
Optimize code for performance, reliability, and scalability
Support software testing, verification, and requirements validation
Contribute to GPU-accelerated software development efforts
Collaborate within an Agile development environment
Work onsite with highly skilled engineers on classified defense programs
Qualifications for the Radar Software Engineer include:
Active Secret security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Level 3: 5+ years of experience
Level 4: 9–13 years of experience
Level 5: 14+ years of experience (subject matter expertise preferred)
Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Modern C++
Strong analytical skills and applied mathematics background
Experience with one or more of the following domains: Radar Systems, C4ISR, Space Systems, Electronic Warfare, or complex electronic systems
Compensation for the Radar Software Engineer includes:
Salary Range:
Level 3: $150,000
Level 4: $185,000
Level 5: $205,000
Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Maternity Leave, Military Reserve Pay Offset
Annual Merit Increases
4x10 work schedule (four-day work week with three days off)
