R&D Electrical Engineer – Instrument Transformers & Sensors

We are looking for an R&D Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of medium voltage instrument transformers and sensors. The role involves working across the full product development lifecycle including design, simulation, testing, and manufacturing support.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop medium voltage instrument transformers and sensor products
Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering documentation
Perform simulations including electrical, thermal, electromagnetic, structural, and CFD
Conduct product testing, validation, troubleshooting, and design verification
Participate in design reviews and support product industrialization
Work closely with manufacturing, sourcing, and engineering teams
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and quality requirements
Support innovation and new product development initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience or Master’s with 2+ years
Experience in medium or high voltage electrical product development
Hands-on experience with FEM simulations (electromagnetic, thermal, structural, CFD)
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD tools
Strong experience in electrical testing and troubleshooting
Experience with product industrialization is a plus
Willing to travel up to 10–15%
