We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantum Characterization Engineer to join our cutting-edge research and development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantum measurements, electrical engineering, and materials science, with a particular focus on the characterization of quantum devices. This role involves the design, implementation, and analysis of experiments to characterize the performance of quantum devices, such as superconducting qubits.
Requirements
MSc/M.Tech/PhD Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics or quantum technology.
Experience with designing and implementing experimental setups, performing quantum measurements using platforms such as superconducting qubits, cold atoms. Strong skill set including cryogenic systems, microwave electronics, for superconducting qubit device characterization.
Develop and implement experimental protocols for measuring device parameters such as coherence times, gate fidelities, quantum state and process tomography.
Knowledge and strong understanding of circuit QED, error-correction schemes preferably in superconducting qubits.
Proven track record of successful projects involving superconducting materials and devices.
Maintain and optimize cryogenic experimental apparatus to ensure reliable and accurate measurements.
Experience with data analysis software and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
Good problem solving and communication skills.
