We are hiring for Quantum Device Engineer
As a Device Fabrication/Characterization Engineer, you will be in charge of fabricating and characterizing the superconducting quantum devices in the cleanroom environment. Performing characterization of manufactured devices (SEM, AFM, XRD and basic room temperature measurements, etc.).
Requirements
MSc/M.Tech/PhD Degree in Electronics/Microelectronics/Material Science/Chemical Engineering or equivalent with 1-3 years of cleanroom experience in developing fabrication process on silicon substrate for devices in sensor and transducer applications.
Hands-on experience with optical lithography/electron beam lithography (EBL), wet and dry chemical etching, thin film deposition (Sputtering, Evaporation).
Knowledge and experience in fabrication and characterization of superconducting quantum devices - Josephson Junctions devices is a plus.
Knowledge of dielectric deposition - PECVD, Dry/Wet Oxidation and LPCVD furnaces.
Knowledge of cleanroom chemical safety procedures. Cleanroom/other cleanroom user experience is a plus.
Experience in writing analysis reports to help the definition of DoE and improvement plan for process development.
Develop test plans for Improving the current fabrication process to increase the quality and parameters reproducibility.
Experience in characterisation tools SEM, AFM, Conductivity measurements.
Good problem solving and communication skills.
