Quality Assurance Tester

2. About the Opportunity:
The Quality Assurance Tester will be a key contributor to a critical program within the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing testing procedures to ensure the quality and functionality of advanced software systems. The position requires technical expertise and collaboration within a remote team to maintain high software standards and support the program''s success.

3. Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Collaborate with developers to ensure software quality
• Perform regression testing and confirm issue resolution
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team
• Stay informed on new testing tools and strategies

4. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing or related field
• Strong knowledge of Department of Veterans Affairs software methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with automated testing tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
