Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the quality, reliability, security, and performance of enterprise applications supporting complex business workflows, integrations, and regulatory operations. The role will work closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and validation procedures that ensure application functionality, performance, reliability, and usability across the CompHub platform.
Perform manual, automated, integration, regression, user acceptance, accessibility, security, and performance testing activities to validate application enhancements and releases.
Validate complex business workflows involving claims processing, adjudication, hearing scheduling, document management, reporting, and external agency integrations.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify testing scenarios, and ensure complete coverage of functional and technical requirements.
Design and execute test scenarios that validate application integrations, APIs, authentication workflows, cloud services, document processing functionality, and data exchange processes.
Utilize Azure DevOps, defect tracking tools, and test management platforms to document test cases, manage testing activities, track defects, and report quality metrics.
Support automated testing initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, developing reusable testing assets, and integrating testing activities into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform data validation activities using SQL queries and database analysis techniques to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across business processes.
Participate in release planning, deployment validation, smoke testing, and post-deployment verification activities to support successful production releases.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending enhancements to testing processes, quality standards, automation frameworks, and delivery practices.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Five (5) or more years of software quality assurance and testing experience supporting enterprise applications and business-critical systems.
Three (3) or more years of experience utilizing automated testing frameworks, automation tools, and modern testing methodologies within Agile development environments.
Demonstrated experience creating test plans, test cases, testing strategies, defect documentation, and quality reporting deliverables.
Experience performing functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing activities across complex enterprise applications.
Working knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques used to verify business processes, application logic, and data integrity.
Experience utilizing test management, defect tracking, and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership groups.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Federal, State, or Local Government agencies and participating in large-scale modernization initiatives involving mission-critical business applications.
Experience working within workers' compensation, insurance, healthcare, financial services, claims processing, legal services, or other regulated industries where data accuracy and compliance are critical.
Familiarity with testing complex business workflows involving case management, adjudication processes, claims lifecycle management, document workflows, and stakeholder communications.
Experience validating enterprise integrations, REST APIs, authentication services, external agency interfaces, and cloud-hosted applications.
Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), insurance transaction processing, data exchange standards, or integration testing involving external organizations.
Experience supporting accessibility compliance initiatives and validating applications against WCAG 2.1 AA standards or comparable accessibility requirements.
Familiarity with Azure App Services, Azure Active Directory B2C, Azure Blob Storage, SharePoint Online, and cloud-native application architectures.
Experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps environments, and modern software delivery frameworks.
