Quality Assurance Lead

QA Lead with experience leading teams in healthcare technology, ensuring high-quality, compliant software delivery. Skilled in manual and automated testing, with a focus on data integrity, and efficient QA processes.

Functions
Manual/Automated testing a cloud-based application written in Microsoft .NET Framework running within Chrome or Edge.
Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
Experience leveraging RESTful JSON APIs
Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plan.
Work with developers to improve overall software quality including adherence to coding standards, unit testing standards, and related development practices
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers across manual and automation disciplines
Establish clear goals, KPIs, and career development plans for QA team members
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Data, and Compliance teams
QA Strategy & Process Improvement
Drive continuous QA process improvement, including shift-left testing and risk-based testing strategies
Establish test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting frameworks
Automation & Testing
Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks (UI, API, and data layers)
Increase automation coverage and reduce manual regression effort
Oversee black box testing (functional, integration, UAT) and white box testing (unit, code-level validation, test hooks)
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
Data Validation & SQL
Validate data pipelines and application outputs using SQL Server
Write SQL queries to verify data integrity, transformations, and reporting accuracy
Partner with data engineering teams to ensure data quality across systems
AI & Innovation
Explore AI-assisted testing tools and intelligent automation approaches
Contribute to responsible and reliable validation of AI outputs


Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field
