Role Overview
We are looking for an agile, highly motivated Entry-Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our SimplifyVMS feature validation team. In this role, you will get the opportunity to blend functional feature testing with hands-on test automation. Working closely with both our Senior QA and Automation Lead, you will ensure swift validation of monthly releases while expanding your automated scripting skill set.
Key Responsibilities
Execute manual and exploratory test cases for newly developed features, ensuring user-story acceptance criteria are met.
Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts under the guidance of the Senior Automation Engineer.
Identify, document, log, and track software defects thoroughly using Jira.
Participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions to provide QA estimations for incoming features.
Execute regression test suites (both manual and automated) to verify platform stability before production rollouts.
Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise:
0.6 -1 years of professional experience in software testing.
Hands-on exposure to at least one automation tool/scripting language (e.g., basic scripting in Selenium, Cypress, Java, or JavaScript).
Good understanding of web technologies, browser developer tools, and API testing basics using Postman.
Strong logical thinking, troubleshooting skills, and an eye for spotting UI/UX and functional discrepancies.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly to shifting release priorities.
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive & Results-Oriented: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments.
Domain Knowledge: Experience in QA/AI/Automation preferred.
