QA Automation Engineer (Fully Remote – U.S. Based)
Location: Fully Remote (United States)
Compensation: Up to $120,000 Base Salary
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. No C2C, third-party agencies, or subcontractors.
About the Role
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to help drive quality across our software platforms through scalable test automation and strong engineering practices. This role will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to build and maintain automated testing solutions that ensure reliable, high-quality releases.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript, enjoys solving complex testing challenges, and is passionate about improving automation frameworks and quality processes.
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in QA Automation, Software Test Engineering, or Quality Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
Experience developing and maintaining automated UI and API test suites.
Strong understanding of modern test automation frameworks and design patterns.
Experience with REST APIs, API testing, and integration testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
