IDR is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, CO. This role is focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of complex systems within a fast-paced environment, supporting critical upgrades and testing initiatives for data centers and telecommunications products.
Position Overview for the Quality Assurance Engineer:
Responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing test cases for APIs, system, and functional testing within Agile development environments.
Conduct automated and manual testing to validate system performance, reliability, and security.
Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Selenium, and test automation frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support critical system changes during scheduled maintenance windows.
Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, defect reports, and testing results to ensure compliance and quality standards.
Requirements for the Quality Assurance Engineer:
Minimum of 4 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in network and API testing.
Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, and SOATest.
Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium and programming languages such as Java or Python.
Knowledge of CI tools like Jenkins and test management tools (e.g., TestRail).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies within Agile environments, with an ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
