Quality Assurance Engineer
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Serve as the program's Quality Assurance lead for planning, work product reviews, and quality audits.
• Implement and maintain the Quality Assurance Program Plan (QAPP) and update the program's Tailored Process Baseline (TPB).
• Conduct quality audits in adherence to program schedules and organizational policies, reporting findings to leadership.
• Oversee the development, documentation, and execution of test plans and cases in compliance with DoD standards.
• Ensure program adherence to Department of Defense Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Evaluate software, hardware, and system performance against established metrics and DoD compliance requirements.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience in QA engineering.
• US Citizen with at least a Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI.
• In-depth knowledge of DoD compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA, RMF, DISA STIGs).
• Familiarity with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) relevant to DoD programs.
• Experience with testing in an environment that adheres to Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI).
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
