About KAVIA AI
KAVIA AI is an enterprise software company with a live, production AI platform in use today.
We build an AI-native workflow and reasoning layer for the full software development lifecycle — spanning requirements, architecture, code, testing, CI/CD, and long-term maintenance. Our platform is used by enterprise teams working on real, large-scale codebases, not demos or internal experiments.
AI at KAVIA is foundational. The platform is built around agent-based orchestration, enterprise knowledge graphs, and full lifecycle traceability, enabling teams to understand, evolve, and ship complex software systems with greater speed, confidence, and structure.
As the platform and customer footprint scale, we’re hiring a QA Engineer to help improve day-to-day product quality, strengthen regression coverage, and support a more disciplined approach to testing and release readiness.
The Role
This is a hands-on QA role on an existing, production platform.
As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with engineering, product, and the broader quality function to test product workflows, validate releases, identify bugs, and help improve quality across the platform. You will contribute to both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on execution, attention to detail, and learning how to test complex workflows well.
This role sits at the intersection of product testing, workflow validation, regression discipline, and growing automation exposure.
This role is ideal for an early-career QA engineer who wants strong product exposure, practical ownership, and the opportunity to grow in a fast-moving enterprise SaaS environment.
What You’ll DoProduct Testing & Validation
Test core product workflows spanning UI, backend services, APIs, and multi-step user experiences
Execute test cases for new features, existing workflows, and regression scenarios
Perform hands-on exploratory testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and workflow gaps
Translate requirements and product behavior into clear, accurate test scenarios
Quality Engineering & Automation
Contribute to automated test coverage for important product workflows
Help build and maintain end-to-end, integration, regression, and API tests across the platform
Improve test reliability and test execution discipline over time
Support practical quality engineering efforts appropriate for a growing product company
Release Readiness & Execution
Support release readiness by validating critical flows before production releases
Reproduce issues clearly and help engineering teams validate fixes
Log thoughtful, high-quality bugs with clear steps, expected behavior, and business impact
Help maintain regression suites, release checklists, and testing documentation
Team Collaboration
Work closely with QA, engineering, and product teams in a high-trust environment
Learn how to identify edge cases, workflow risks, and common failure modes
Contribute to a culture of ownership, rigor, and practical execution
Grow into broader responsibility across automation and product quality over time
What We’re Looking ForRequired
Around 2 years of professional experience in software testing, QA, or quality engineering
Hands-on experience in product testing, regression testing, and bug reporting
Experience testing web applications and APIs
Exposure to automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar
Ability to understand product requirements and translate them into strong test scenarios
Good attention to detail, communication, and ownership
Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with changing product behavior
Strong Plus
Exposure to Python or JavaScript for automation, scripting, or test tooling
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release processes
Experience testing complex workflows, developer tools, or AI-assisted systems
Startup or product company experience
Strong learning velocity and willingness to take on increasing ownership
Why This Role Is Interesting
Work on a real, production enterprise platform
Build strong foundations in product testing, automation, and release quality
Work closely with engineering and product teams on meaningful technical problems
Gain exposure to AI-native workflows and enterprise software delivery
Grow into a broader quality engineering role over time
Who This Role Is a Good Fit For
This role tends to resonate with engineers who:
Care about product quality and getting details right
Enjoy finding issues before customers do
Want to build strength in both manual and automated testing
Prefer real product exposure over repetitive test execution
Want to grow quickly in a fast-evolving engineering environment
