QA Engineer II

2. About the Opportunity:
The QA Engineer II is a key member of the Quality Assurance team focused on validating the functionality, integrations, and data accuracy of SaaS applications. This role collaborates with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure new features meet defined requirements and quality standards before release. It involves working independently on moderately complex features, designing and executing tests, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing practices within an Agile environment.

3. Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Design, document, and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and data validation scenarios using AI-assisted tools.
• Validate web-based SaaS features and user workflows against specifications.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact evaluations.
• Re-test fixes and verify resolution prior to release.
• Conduct regression testing across product areas and releases.
• Validate system integrations and data flows, including APIs and external services.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing testing estimates and status updates.
• Maintain test documentation, test suites, and QA knowledge bases.
• Recommend improvements to testing processes and coverage.
• Support user acceptance testing and release readiness activities as needed.

4. Requirements:
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience using AI tools for test case creation and test data generation.
• Background in testing web or SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with API and integration testing tools such as Postman.
• Ability to write clear test cases and defect reports.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or data validation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to manage assigned testing tasks independently.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years quality assurance experience in SaaS or web software environments.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Salary range of $80,000 to $89,000 USD per year, with potential bonus.
