QA Engineer

Position: QA Engineer
Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Leawood, Kansas

Be a key player in maintaining and enhancing the reliability and performance of software solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Develop and execute manual and automated test cases
Collaborate with developers to understand requirements
Identify and document software defects
Perform functional and regression testing
Build and maintain automated testing frameworks
Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Validate application functionality and performance
Improve QA processes and testing standards
Support continuous integration and deployment efforts
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of software quality assurance experience
Experience with manual and automated testing
Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium or Cypress
Understanding of API and regression testing
Experience with Agile methodologies
Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to microservices architecture
Experience with performance testing tools
Familiarity with version control systems like Git
