QA Engineer (Salesforce & Internal Systems)

About Us
Fox Ridge Capital is a fast-growing equipment finance company focused on becoming a leading provider of small business equipment financing in the United States.
We are building a modern, scalable technology platform to power our lending operations, centered around Salesforce (including Northteq’s Aurora LOS), integrated systems, and an expanding data and analytics stack. Fox Ridge Capital is well-capitalized and entering a high-growth phase, offering a unique opportunity to take ownership of critical systems, build foundational processes, and directly influence how our platform evolves as we scale nationwide.
Our team operates with a startup mindset—moving quickly, solving complex problems, and taking a hands-on approach to building and improving every part of the business.

Overview
Fox Ridge Capital is seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically capable QA Engineer to own quality assurance across our internal technology stack. This is a fully remote role and offers the opportunity to build and scale QA processes and automation frameworks from the ground up.
This individual will be responsible for both manual and automated testing of business-critical systems, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce (including Northteq Aurora LOS) and integrated platforms.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable validating complex business processes and building repeatable automated tests to support ongoing releases.

Required Qualifications
3–6+ years of experience in QA / software testing
Experience testing Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud preferred)
Strong understanding of:
Test case design
Regression testing
Defect tracking and QA methodologies
Hands-on experience with manual testing of complex business workflows
Experience with at least one test automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Provar, etc.)
Experience with API testing tools (Postman or equivalent)
Strong attention to detail and structured problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce-specific testing tools (e.g., Provar)
Familiarity with Apex, Flows, and Salesforce data models
Experience testing managed packages (e.g., LOS platforms like Aurora)
Exposure to financial services or lending platforms
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management
Ability to work across both technical and business stakeholders

Key Responsibilities
Manual Testing & QA Ownership
Design, document, and execute test plans and test cases across Salesforce and related systems
Perform end-to-end testing of loan origination workflows, approvals, and funding processes
Validate business logic, workflows, permissions, and UI behavior
Execute regression testing for new releases and system updates
Partner with business stakeholders (Operations, Sales, Credit) to support UAT cycles
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

Test Automation
Develop and maintain automated test suites for high-impact workflows
Identify opportunities to automate regression testing and reduce manual effort
Implement UI and/or API testing using tools such as:
Provar (preferred for Salesforce)
Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks
Build data-driven test scenarios for repeatability and coverage
Integrate automated tests into release cycles and CI/CD processes (where applicable)

Salesforce & System Testing
Validate functionality across:
Salesforce (Sales Cloud + managed packages such as Aurora LOS)
Custom objects, flows, validation rules, and Apex logic
Test role-based access and permission controls
Ensure data integrity between Salesforce and integrated systems

Integration & API Testing
Test integrations with external systems (e.g., Aspire and other vendor platforms)
Validate API requests/responses using Postman or similar tools
Ensure reliable and accurate data exchange across systems

Process Improvement & Quality Strategy
Establish and improve QA processes, standards, and documentation
Help define test coverage strategy for key business workflows
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations to improve release quality
Play a key role in building a scalable QA function as the company grows

Benefits
Competitive salary and company-wide bonus
Health, dental, and vision insurance
401(k) with company match (if applicable)
Flexible PTO policy
Fully remote work environment

Key Traits for Success
Highly detail-oriented and process-driven
Able to think in terms of end-to-end business workflows, not just features
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Proactive in identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
