Overview
We are seeking an RF Design Engineer to support the design and optimization of wireless communication systems in a fully remote, desk-based environment. This role focuses on RF and in-building wireless system design, with an emphasis on iDAS (in-building Distributed Antenna Systems), including public safety applications.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with RF modeling, iBwave, and CAD tools, and will be comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize wireless communication systems using iBwave and CAD tools
Develop and review RF designs to ensure compliance with project specifications and performance requirements
Perform RF modeling, site surveys, and design validation to ensure optimal system performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution and delivery
Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to RF system design
Contribute to design documentation and maintain accurate project records

Required Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of experience in RF design or wireless communications
Hands-on experience with iBwave or comparable RF design tools
Strong understanding of RF modeling, propagation, and design principles
Experience working in remote or distributed team environments with effective communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications
iBwave Level 2 Certification
Experience with CAD tools
Experience supporting public safety iDAS projects
Data center project experience
Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or wireless deployment projects

Compensation
Annual base salary starting at $100,000
