PROJECT ENGINEER – PLASTIC MOLDING OPERATIONS
Looking for a role where you can make an immediate impact and take ownership of key plant-level systems and process improvements? This Manufacturing Engineer position supports injection molding, extrusion, and post-mold operations with a focus on workflow, equipment validation, and various other CI projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
:Lead workflow and line layout improvements in molding and downstream operations, with a focus on labeling, packaging, and vibration welding readiness
.Manage tooling projects, working directly with vendors to coordinate builds, refurbishments, and changes
.Lead validation activities related to machinery, equipment, and process implementation
.Support improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies with a hands-on approach to problem solving
.Collaborate across departments to improve process flow and documentation from molding through final assembly
.Support the Controls Engineer and Process Enginee
r
REQUIREMENT
S:Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferre
d.Background in injection molding or extrusion preferre
d.Vibratory welding experience preferre
d.Experience establishing and improving line layouts and process flows using Lean tool
s.Familiarity with CMMS and MES systems in a manufacturing environmen
t.Ability to read and review CAD files related to injection mold tooling (design not required
).
