Project Engineer – Embedded Systems & PCB Design

Core Skills Required

Strong knowledge of PCB schematic design and circuit design
Experience in PCB layout and routing
Understanding of single-layer, double-layer, and multilayer PCB design
Knowledge of electronic component selection
Understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, connectors, and power-supply circuits
Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design
Understanding of power distribution, grounding, and signal integrity
Knowledge of PCB trace width, spacing, vias, and layer-stack design
Understanding of EMI/EMC considerations in PCB design
Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
Ability to prepare schematics, PCB layouts, Gerber files, BOMs, and fabrication documents
Knowledge of PCB debugging, testing, and troubleshooting
Experience in prototype PCB development and validation
Ability to review PCB designs and identify design or manufacturing issues

Preferred Background

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
Candidates with hands-on experience in sensor-based PCB designs, compact electronic devices, data loggers, or similar electronic hardware products will be preferred.
