Must-Have Requirements

5-8 years of construction/project engineering experience.
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Experience handling at least two of the following:
Submittals
Change Orders
RFIs (Requests for Information)
Quantity Take-Offs
Estimation
Project Coordination
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience coordinating directly with US-based project teams.
Background in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Structural, Architectural, Civil, or MEPFP disciplines.

Job Discription

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Global Delivery Center (GDC) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all technical and engineering aspects of construction projects while collaborating closely with client teams in the United States. This role requires strong project engineering knowledge, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in construction project administration.

The Project Engineer will participate in daily coordination between the GDC (India) and client project teams, ensuring technical accuracy, quality delivery, and efficient execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in all project engineering activities including project management support, change orders, submittals, RFIs, quantity take-offs, estimation, and project coordination.
Collaborate with US-based project managers during daily project meetings and provide progress updates on assigned tasks.
Develop a strong understanding of GDC project engineering services and perform tasks in accordance with company quality standards.
Support project managers with estimating project effort, resources, and schedules for new engagements.
Review, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Perform project engineering activities including 2D overlays, submittal reviews, change order management, quantity take-offs, and estimation support.
Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control procedures across projects.
Develop and deliver training sessions for team members and project stakeholders.
Take ownership of project documentation and document management systems.
Maintain awareness of construction practices, design methodologies, and project delivery standards across domestic and international markets.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
5-8 years of relevant construction/project engineering experience, preferably with reputed construction, engineering, or consulting firms.
Demonstrated experience managing submittals, change orders, RFIs, and project administration activities.
Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Passion for the construction and engineering industry.
