Project Engineer (Healthcare Sector) - Long Beach
MHP Structural Engineers is seeking a qualified P.E. with a minimum of five years experience working on HCAI projects including Infrastructure and non-structural component anchorage in addition to DSA K-12, and higher education projects. Perspective candidate should have a desire to attain their California SE license with the ultimate goal of Project Management for a team of engineers at MHP.
Projects would include new ground up healthcare projects, SPC and NPC work, central plants, healthcare tenant improvement projects in addition to DSA agency governed projects. Position would include managing projects from conceptional to construction administration as well as writing proposals, quality control and supervising other engineers. Candidate shall have a desire to mentor other engineers and move into a Project Managers role after attaining their structural engineering license.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering, Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis.
California Civil P.E. license.
Proficient with Structural Building Design including steel, timber, concrete and masonry.
Proficient with CBC (A chapters) and ASCE 7-22.
Experience working with HCAI and/or DSA is a must.
