Project Engineer (Field Services) – Southern California (Remote with Travel)
We're looking for a hands-on Project Engineer to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you'll lead and support client infrastructure projects, including office relocations, network deployments, endpoint rollouts, and Microsoft cloud implementations.
Based in Los Angeles, California their clients include service companies in the legal, business services, financial and insurance industries. For these companies, if their I.T. systems are down, they literally cannot operate.
What You'll Do:
• Execute and deliver IT infrastructure projects from kickoff to completion
• Perform on-site deployments, installations, cutovers, and client onboarding
• Configure and support networking, virtualization, and Microsoft technologies
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Solutions Architects, and Engineering teams
• Maintain technical documentation and provide exceptional client service
• Participate in on-call support and continuous process improvement
What We're Looking For:
• 3+ years of IT experience, preferably with an MSP
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, VMware/Hyper-V, networking, and security technologies
• Experience with firewalls, switches, wireless networking, VPNs, and endpoint deployments
• Familiarity with PowerShell, automation, and MSP tools (Autotask, Datto, Hudu, BrightGauge)
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Southern California
• Microsoft and Cisco certifications are a plus
📍 Remote position with frequent travel to client sites across Southern California. Candidates should be located within 80 miles of the Southern California metropolitan area.
