Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Sullivan, IN or Westville, IN (we provide relocation services)
Salary: $140,000-$160,000 + Bonus

About the Role
A Project Engineer in this environment helps plan, coordinate, and control industrial construction work by supporting scheduling, cost tracking, documentation, and field execution. They keep information flowing, solve issues with the project team, and make sure the job stays aligned with scope, safety, and schedule.
Responsibilities
Support planning, scheduling, and cost control across industrial projects
Coordinate field activities and subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs, safety standards, and project milestones.
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and all project documentation to keep information accurate and flowing.
Assist with estimating, budgeting, and forecasting, tracking quantities, productivity, and cost performance.
Interface with project managers, field supervisors, QA/QC, and clients to resolve issues and keep execution on track.
Qualifications
BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years of industrial construction experience in estimating, project coordination, construction management, project controls, engineering, and/or estimating
Background in power, industrial, heavy mechanical, fabrication or process facilities is beneficial
You will have Field Engineers reporting to you, so previous supervisory experience is preferred
Required Skills
Knowledge of construction industry best practices, regulations, and safety standards
Prior Project Engineer or Construction Management experience in an industrial environment
