We’re partnering with a strong manufacturing client seeking a Project Engineer to support new product introductions and production line readiness. While the title is Project Engineer, we’re also very interested in speaking with Process Engineers and Continuous Improvement Engineers who have strong manufacturing and production optimization experience.

SUMMARY
Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and external vendors to ensure machinery and production systems are fully prepared for introducing new products onto manufacturing lines.
Responsible for coordinating all technical and operational requirements needed to support successful product launches and line integration activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Partner with customers to gather and clarify all necessary technical and operational details required to successfully launch new products into production.
Coordinate with the pricing team to assemble input related to tooling requirements and associated labor (LSC) estimates.
Engage with OEM suppliers to evaluate and understand machine capabilities, requirements, and integration needs for production lines.
Interpret and ensure compliance with both customer and internal quality standards and expectations.
Collaborate with production personnel to plan and support line trial activities.
Work alongside the maintenance team to ensure readiness and support during production line trials.
Lead and execute production line trials for new product introductions.
Provide ongoing support for engineering changes to existing products, including planning and execution of required line trials.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent required; prior experience in similar quality assurance or manufacturing-related roles preferred
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline required
Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
Advanced computer proficiency, including experience interacting with customers and managing technical information systems
