Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day manufacturing operations across machining, metal forming, welding/brazing, plastics processing, assembly, and material handling
Develop, refine, and improve production methods to enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput
Provide engineering support for the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of manufacturing processes and tooling
Lead and support process development projects, including defining schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring on-time delivery
Create and maintain manufacturing engineering documentation (CAPP-2, G7 formats) in alignment with Pratt & Whitney standards
Coordinate and submit tooling and production requests, including:

Develop and support FAI (First Article Inspection) packages and PTO (Part Try-Out) packages to validate production readiness
Assist with time studies, cost estimates, and resource planning
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement
Provide guidance and direction to engineering technicians as needed
US Citizenship required due to ITAR Restrictions
What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting manufacturing processes in an industrial or aerospace environment
Strong understanding of production methods across machining, fabrication, and assembly
Experience with PPAP, FAI, PTO, and MRL processes within a regulated manufacturing environment
Familiarity with manufacturing documentation and process planning tools (CAPP, G7, or similar)
Experience working within structured OEM environments (Pratt & Whitney or similar) is highly preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects forward in a fast-paced setting
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, shop-floor mindset
Why This Role
This is an opportunity to play a direct role in shaping manufacturing processes and supporting product development in a highly technical aerospace environment. You’ll work closely with experienced teams, gain exposure to advanced manufacturing methods, and contribute to programs with real-world impact.
