Seeking a Project Engineer I with a strong background in CAD, facility design, and engineering principles. This role involves supporting the design and development of specialized facilities, with a focus on pharmaceutical environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
Support the design and development of facility layouts and technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements and specifications are met for facility and equipment design.
Apply knowledge of design for manufacturability and lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize project outcomes.
Interpret and utilize technical drawings, schematics, and documentation to guide project execution and problem-solving.
Gather, organize, and analyze project data to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and meetings.
Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in facility design, documentation, and project management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training in Science, Engineering, Technology, or Math.
Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience using design software.
Proficiency in CAD and ability to visually communicate concepts with strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of design for manufacturability and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
Advanced skills in documentation, organization, and basic computer functions (word processing, spreadsheets, internet).
Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present information to various audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, multitask, and adapt to change.
Focus and action-oriented, with the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
Interest in building design and willingness to specialize in pharmaceutical facilities design.
