Project Engineer

Job Description:
We’re looking for a Project Engineer with at least a year of commercial construction experience to join our team. If you’ve worked on hyperscale or mission-critical data center projects, that’s a big plus! This role is perfect for someone who’s organized, great at solving problems, and loves working with a team to get projects done right.

What you’ll do:
Keep project documents organized from start to finish
Track change orders, RFIs, submittals and closeout documents
Join meetings and take notes when needed
Work with field crews, providing clear instructions and quality standards
Do regular site walks to check on schedules, coordination and quality
Team up with VDC/BIM/prefab staff as needed
Connect with vendors, contractors and suppliers to keep things moving
Read blueprints, submittals and technical documents
Tackle challenges in a fast-paced construction setting
Pitch in on other tasks to help the project and team succeed

What you’ll need:
At least one year of project engineering experience in commercial construction (bonus points for hyperscale or data center work)
Familiarity with electrical equipment, schematics and specs
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
Great communication skills to keep everyone in the loop
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
Comfortable working with diverse teams, vendors and contractors
Ready to thrive in a busy, team-orientated environment
Willingness to work full-time, on-site in Amarillo, TX
