Onsite Role
Must be residing in Roebuck, SC or an hour drive to Roebuck, SC
Review customer technical specifications and drawings
3–15 years of project engineering experience in: Process engineering, Industrial manufacturing, Heavy industrial construction or related environments
Fabrication, pressure vessels, tanks, or industrial equipment
Overview:
This role supports engineering, estimating, and project management functions within a heavy industrial / fabrication environment. Candidates should be comfortable working across the full project lifecycle from design review through fabrication and field execution, while maintaining client communication.
Responsibilities:
Review customer technical specifications and drawings
Develop designs based on customer plans and applicable codes
Work with codes including ASME Section VIII, API, AWWA, NFPA, ASIC, and building codes
Generate shop fabrication and field erection cost estimates
Prepare subcontractor RFQ packages
Review customer terms and conditions
Develop and issue technical and commercial proposals
Coordinate internal project activities (drafting, purchasing, fabrication, field erection)
Manage subcontractors and contract changes
Maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout project lifecycle
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
3–15 years of project engineering experience in:
Process engineering
Industrial manufacturing
Heavy industrial construction or related environments
PE license or PMP certification preferred, not required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Target Background:
Fabrication, pressure vessels, tanks, or industrial equipment
EPC or industrial construction environments
Experience with estimating, proposals, and project coordination
Exposure to both office and field operations preferred
Would consider candidates with a structural engineering background (commercial or petrochemical projects)
