We are looking for: Systems Engineer - Project Engineer - AIS Switchgear
You’ll make an impact by:
Analyze customers' Medium Voltage switchgear requirements to develop detailed design engineering essential for the review and manufacture of switchgear.
Prepare electrical drawing packages (including panel arrangements, nameplate schedule, schematic diagrams, communication drawings, three-line diagrams, general arrangement drawings, and wiring diagrams) for factory manufacturing of the switchgear and customer documentation using CAD software.
Work directly with project engineers to create product solutions meeting customers’ expectations in a cost-effective and timely manner.
Work directly with the manufacturing teams, addressing any challenges as they produce your designs.
Initiate and support product as well as process improvements through cross-team collaboration.
Use your skills to move the world forward!
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Proven 10+ years of experience working with the design/configuration of electrical power distribution products and systems. Preference given to experience with switchgear.
Strong working knowledge of standard protection and control technologies used in medium voltage power distribution products with proven ability to share this knowledge with others.
Ability to analyse customers’ technical specifications regarding the application of protection and control systems and apply appropriate product solutions to meet the customers’ expectations in a cost-effective and timely manner.
Read, understand, and evaluate electrical schematics.
Multitask and manage large workloads and business demands.
