Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Electrical Engineer located in Schaumburg, IL. The role involves designing electrical systems and power distribution networks, conducting analyses for power systems, and ensuring projects adhere to industry standards and best practices. Responsibilities also include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing technical reports, conducting site assessments, and contributing to the successful completion of infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Electrical Design and foundational knowledge of Electricity principles
Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts, systems, and applications
Experience with Power Systems analysis and design
Knowledge of Power Distribution frameworks and their implementation
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
Proficiency in related software and tools for electrical design and analysis
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience in the energy sector or utility projects is a plus
