Project: Design, Development & Implementation of AI/ML-Enabled Cyber-Aware Digital Twin for JNPA

Role Purpose
The Project Director will provide strategic, operational, commercial, and technology leadership for the end-to-end delivery of JNPA’s Digital Twin Command & Control Centre (DTCCC). The role owns delivery outcomes, stakeholder governance, cybersecurity compliance, and project P&L—including budget, revenue, cash flow, contracts, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Program leadership: Lead the 18-month Digital Twin transformation program, aligned with JNPA’s Smart Port, sustainability, decarbonisation, and operational-excellence goals.
Governance and delivery: Establish PMO governance, master plan, WBS, milestones, reviews, reporting, escalation, risk, quality, change control, testing, commissioning, UAT, and go-live.
Technology transformation: Direct implementation of enterprise Digital Twin architecture, ICCC, AI/ML analytics, data lake, GIS/LiDAR and 3D modelling, IoT, computer vision, predictive simulation, and road, rail, vessel, energy, and environmental modules.
Infrastructure and integration: Oversee OT–IT convergence, data centre and disaster recovery, GPU analytics, cloud/hybrid architecture, private 5G readiness, IoT gateways, edge platforms, and multimodal ecosystem integration.
Cybersecurity and compliance: Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, IEC 62443, CERT-In, NCIIPC, DPDP Act, Government of India cybersecurity frameworks, VAPT, SOC/SIEM, and security authorisation requirements.
Commercial ownership: Own CAPEX/OPEX control, P&L, billing and revenue milestones, receivables, cash flow, working capital, contract governance, value engineering, and profitability.
Stakeholder management: Serve as the executive single point of accountability for JNPA leadership, steering committees, government authorities, OEMs, system integrators, and consultants.
Team and vendor leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams and a multi-vendor ecosystem; resolve issues, manage dependencies, and drive timely decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Telecommunications, Civil, Marine, Electrical, Instrumentation, or equivalent.
20+ years in large-scale technology/infrastructure programs, including at least 10 years in leadership roles managing programs above ₹100 crore.
Demonstrated delivery of Smart City, Digital Twin, ICCC, port, airport, industrial, critical-infrastructure, or government transformation programs.
Strong experience in multi-vendor delivery, multi-stakeholder governance, and IT–OT convergence.
Preferred: M.Tech/MBA/MS/PGDM; PMP/PgMP; digital transformation, CISSP/CISM, Smart City, or Digital Twin certifications; maritime, port technology, GIS/LiDAR, or ICCC experience.
