Senior / Associate Staff Substation Physical Engineer
United States (Remote)
Location – Fully Remote
Salary – $160k - $190Kbase salary plus 401(k), day-one health benefits, semi-annual profit-sharing bonus of 10–20%, PTO and a flexible 9/80 schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
Design high-voltage substation physical systems, including general arrangements, equipment layouts, grounding, conduit and bills of material
Prepare construction drawing packages and review submittals for design compliance and constructability
Perform QA/QC reviews of engineering work completed by internal teams and subcontractors
Act as Lead Engineer and Engineer of Record on assigned projects where applicable
Support proposals, bid preparation, project schedules and construction-related technical issues
Mentor junior engineers and provide ongoing technical guidance
The Successful Candidate Must Have/Show:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
12+ years of substation physical design experience
PE licence preferred
Experience with AutoCAD and substation physical design packages
Strong communication, technical leadership and collaboration skills
