Position Description
Tata Electronics is seeking a highly organized and analytical Cost & CapEx Program Manager to serve as the central point of coordination for all customer-facing and internally generated cost estimates, capital expenditure (CapEx) requests, and investment tracking activities. This role will establish and manage the processes, systems, and governance necessary to ensure cost estimates, business cases, customer quotations, manufacturing investments, and capital requests remain aligned throughout the program lifecycle.

The Cost & CapEx Program Manager will partner closely with Account
Management, Program Management, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and Customer teams to consolidate cost information, track investment assumptions, monitor actual spending versus plan, and provide leadership visibility into financial risks and opportunities.

This individual will play a critical role in supporting business growth by ensuring the organization maintains accurate, timely, and traceable cost data to support customer engagements, program decisions, manufacturing readiness, and executive investment approvals.

Responsibilities
Serve as the single source of coordination for all program-related cost estimates and financial assumptions.
Consolidate customer-facing quotations and internally generated cost models into a unified tracking process.
Ensure consistency between customer commitments, program assumptions, manufacturing costs, and financial forecasts.
Track cost revisions throughout the program lifecycle and maintain version control of all estimates.
Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance teams to validate cost assumptions.
Support cost reviews, cost reduction initiatives, and executive financial decision-making.

Essential Attributes
CapEx Planning & Management
Lead the preparation, coordination, and tracking of CapEx requests associated with customer programs and factory investments.
Develop business cases supporting equipment purchases, manufacturing expansions, tooling investments, automation projects, and facility upgrades.
Track approved, pending, and planned CapEx investments across programs.
Monitor actual spending against approved budgets and identify variances.
Establish best practices for change management related to cost and investment tracking.
Program Financial Visibility
Create and maintain dashboards tracking:
Establish executive reporting processes that provide visibility into financial performance across all active programs.
Cross-Functional Program Support
Partner with Account Managers and Program Managers to ensure financial assumptions remain aligned throughout customer engagements.
Support customer discussions regarding cost estimates, manufacturing investments, schedules, and business cases.
Drive accountability for cost inputs from engineering, supply chain, operations, and factory teams.
Ensure alignment between customer requirements, manufacturing readiness plans, and investment decisions

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
5+ years of experience in program management, finance, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or cost management.
Experience managing complex cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Strong financial, analytical, and business modeling skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Experience Level
Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, semiconductor, automotive, or high-tech industries.
Experience supporting customer quotations, NPI programs, manufacturing operations, or supply chain functions.
Knowledge of CapEx approval processes and business case development.
Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle, or similar business systems.
PMP, MBA, or equivalent project/program management certification.
