Sandfits has 3 foundries with a capacity of 60000 tons PA. Sandfits has a dedicated machine shop to deliver precision iron components to customers worldwide. Sandfits Foundries are located in and around Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India and has a certified IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
The Role
The Machine Shop Engineer is responsible for overseeing daily production activities on the assembly line, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. This role involves managing a team of operators, optimizing workflow, and resolving operational issues to maintain efficiency.
The Key Skills
Knowledge of assembly processes and production planning
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Preventive maintenance
HMI based machines operation and familiar about SCADA
Production target achievement
Quality defect rate control
Downtime reduction
Employee productivity and attendance
Safety compliance metrics
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Degress in Mechanical Engineering with 5 to 15 years of experience in CNC / VMC manufacturing, Vision systems.
Preference will be given to immediate joiners.
