Senior Product Engineer
Company Overview

A leading global semiconductor company is expanding its AI focused power semiconductor business and is looking for an experienced Senior Product Engineer to support the technical readiness, manufacturability, and quality of advanced power products through New Product Introduction and into production.

The role will work closely with Design, Test, Manufacturing, Applications, and Quality teams to ensure products meet performance, cost, quality, and schedule requirements.

The company develops a broad portfolio of semiconductor solutions supporting high performance computing and other demanding applications, with a particular focus on advanced power management, power conversion, and power delivery technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Support product engineering activities throughout NPI and production
Participate in product bring up, characterization, validation, and silicon readiness activities
Collaborate with Design, Test, Applications, Manufacturing, and Quality teams on product development and production issues
Help establish product specifications, operating limits, and guard bands based on silicon performance and manufacturing capability
Analyze yield, parametric data, and production trends to identify opportunities and investigate root causes
Support initiatives focused on improving yield, cost, quality, and manufacturing cycle time
Support manufacturing release, product changes, qualifications, and production readiness activities
Act as a technical point of contact for product related issues, including production issues and customer returns
Work with Quality Engineering on failure analysis, corrective actions, and reliability concerns
Support customer engagements involving technical product questions and issues

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field
Master’s degree preferred
3+ years of relevant experience within the semiconductor industry
Product engineering experience preferred, although candidates from semiconductor design, test, applications, or related engineering disciplines will also be considered
Working knowledge of semiconductor based power products or power management technologies
Strong data analysis skills using JMP, Python, MATLAB, or similar tools
Experience with or exposure to New Product Development and NPI processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working across multiple technical functions and engaging in detailed engineering discussions

Ideal Background
The ideal candidate will have a semiconductor engineering background with experience in product development, characterization, silicon validation, manufacturing, yield analysis, or technical problem solving.

Experience working with power semiconductor devices, power management products, or high performance computing applications would be particularly valuable. Candidates who have worked across Design, Test, Manufacturing, Applications, or Quality and have a strong understanding of the semiconductor product lifecycle are encouraged to apply.
