Product Development Engineer - Automotive

Job Title: Product Design Engineer
Location: Winamac, IN
Duration: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop vehicle systems and conversions
Create and modify CAD models and engineering designs
Support prototype development and testing
Perform engineering analysis and ensure design quality & cost targets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development
Improve designs and support manufacturing processes
Key Requirements:
Engineering degree (Mechanical or related)
Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial equipment
Strong CAD design skills (Inventor / SolidWorks / AutoCAD)
Experience in full product development cycle (concept → manufacturing)
Knowledge of FMEA, DFM, APQP, GD&T, tolerance stack-up
Hands-on experience with mechanism design, structures, and vehicle systems
Ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams
