Opportunity for an experienced Engineer to play a key role in developing new laboratory equipment for use within the biomanufacturing industry.
This hands-on role spans concept through production, working with cross-functional teams to solve design challenges, improve performance, and scale products successfully. Ideal for someone who enjoys building real products and seeing them reach the market.
Responsibilities
Lead product development from concept to production
Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and marketing on requirements
Perform technical analysis and feasibility studies
Create and maintain design, testing, and validation documentation
Mentor junior engineers and support best practices
Manage timelines, resources, and risks
Work with suppliers to source components and integrate technologies
Use customer feedback and field data to improve products
Qualifications
Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar)
5+ years of product development experience
Strong design and problem-solving skills
Experience working with manufacturing teams
Proficiency in CAD and product design tools
Experience with testing, validation, and quality processes
Nice to Have
Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
Experience with Agile, Scrum, or similar methods
Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (FDA/GMP)
