Scope of the Role
This Product Design Engineer role exists to own the engineering on retail display programmes
end to end, from concept through mass production and beyond.
Turn creative renders into buildable prototypes with the in-house model shop.
Produce your own production drawings, full drawing packs and BOMs.
Design mating plastic parts with tolerances that account for shrinkage and warp.
Take programmes from test stores through to mass production across thousands of stores.
Get hands-on with installs around the US a few times a year.
Key Skills and Experience Required
SolidWorks, used for real production work. This is non-negotiable.
A solid background as a Product Design Engineer, Design Engineer or Mechanical Engineer in high-volume manufacturing.
Proven experience with injection moulding, including mating parts, plus sheet metal exposure.
Sound design for manufacture (DFM) judgement on high-volume plastic parts.
No point of sale experience needed. Full training provided if you’re new to displays.

Salary of $80,000 to $85,000

You’d join a small US engineering team that has grown from three people to twenty-one in
