Your Impact
As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the structural and infrastructure components that support Accelevation’s next‑generation solutions. Your designs will directly influence product performance, safety, and manufacturability by transforming engineering concepts into detailed, build‑ready technical designs.
Working closely with sales, manufacturing, project managers, and our greater engineering team, you’ll help ensure our systems meet demanding structural, code, and performance requirements while supporting scalable production and field installation.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Develop engineering designs, technical drawings, and documentation using CAD and 3D modeling tools such as Onshape, Solidworks, and Tekla Structures
Create and maintain 3D models and detailed design packages to support engineering, manufacturing, and installation teams
Perform structural analysis and calculations to evaluate gravity, live, wind, and seismic loads
Assess stresses, material performance, and structural stability to ensure safe and reliable designs
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and project management to meet project requirements
Participate in design reviews and implement improvements to enhance performance, quality, and manufacturability
Maintain organized engineering documentation and ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and internal specifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or applicable work experience
Experience developing engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD and design software
Familiarity with structural analysis principles and load calculations
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Background in a manufacturing, infrastructure, or construction‑related engineering environment
