We are seeking a PCB Layout Engineer to support the development of advanced aerospace electronics. Working closely with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineers, you will develop complex PCB layouts, support prototype and production hardware builds, and contribute directly to the success of mission-critical electronic systems.

What You'll Do

Develop PCB layouts for digital, analog, mixed-signal, and power electronics designs
Create and maintain PCB libraries and component footprints
Generate fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing documentation
Support prototype and production hardware builds
Collaborate with engineering teams on signal integrity, power integrity, and manufacturability considerations
Participate in design reviews and hardware development activities

Required Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
2-7 years of professional PCB layout experience
Experience using Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar PCB design tools
Understanding of PCB fabrication processes, design rules, and manufacturing constraints
Ability to interpret schematics and implement effective PCB layouts
Experience with multilayer PCB designs, including high layer-count boards (10+ layers)
Experience creating PCB fabrication and assembly drawings
Familiarity with signal integrity and power integrity considerations
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing hardware for aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability applications
Experience with high-speed digital interfaces and controlled impedance routing
Experience with FPGA-centric layouts and high-pin-density packages
Experience with flex or rigid-flex PCB technologies
Familiarity with IPC standards for PCB design and manufacturing
Experience supporting products through prototype, qualification, and production phases

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $95,000 - $156,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capability.
