Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer

PCB Designer JD:
Design and develop high-speed multilayer PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro. Create PCB floor plans, component placement, and routing for complex designs. Perform impedance-controlled routing for high-speed interfaces such as DDR3/DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SATA, and SerDes. Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, SI/PI, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development cycle. Develop and maintain PCB stack-ups based on signal integrity and manufacturing requirements. Generate and review fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing documentation. Conduct design rule checks (DRC), layout verification, and design reviews. Ensure compliance with IPC standards, EMC/EMI requirements, and design guidelines.
Required Skills
6+ years of PCB design experience. Strong expertise in Cadence Allegro. Knowledge and hands on Altium Tool are added advantage. Experience with multilayer PCB designs (8+ layers up to 24+ layers). Knowledge of signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) concepts. Hands-on experience with DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SATA, HDMI, and high-speed differential routing. Understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes. Familiarity with IPC-2221, IPC-7351, and IPC standards. Experience generating Gerber, ODB++, IPC-2581, and manufacturing deliverables. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Experience with EMI/EMC design considerations.
