For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Engineer - Virtual Protocols to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $136,500 – $253,500 annually
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain feature-based training for new products and features
Provide critical knowledge and guidance to customers for the company emulation platforms
Deploy new protocol products to innovative customers in advanced SOC design
Leverage OS, kernel, and driver expertise to support the company VirtualBridge products
Assist customers with the company’s Accelerated Verification IPs and methodologies
Drive the requirements for new protocol products in industry standards
Enhance product performance and help customers maximize hardware investments
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
7+ years of related experience for Bachelor's or 5+ years for Master's
Solid grounding in software development (C/C++, Object-Oriented programming)
Experience with various protocol standards (PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, USB, AMBA)
Familiarity with verification methodologies (UVM SystemVerilog, Virtual Prototyping SystemC)
Knowledge of HDL language (SystemVerilog, VHDL)
Scripting experience (shell, python, perl)
