Technical Leader – Mechanical Design & Product Development
Are you a driven engineering leader who thrives on solving complex challenges and bringing innovative products to life? We’re seeking a Technical Leader – Mechanical Design to guide product development efforts across multiple programs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys leading teams, mentoring talent, and driving products from concept through high-volume manufacturing.
What You’ll Do
Lead and coordinate mechanical design activities across multiple programs in a multi-site, cross-functional environment
Set priorities and communicate clear action plans to internal teams and external partners
Define project plans, technical resources, and development strategies to ensure program success
Identify risks early and recommend solutions balancing cost, timing, and performance
Design, build, and test prototypes to validate product performance
Solve complex engineering challenges while meeting timeline and budget goals
Partner with tooling and manufacturing experts to implement DFM and DFA for scalable production
Mentor and develop junior engineers, helping elevate team performance
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
7+ years of product development experience
Strong understanding of regulatory standards such as FDA, ISO, or similar requirements
Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD software, and engineering tools
Experience managing technical aspects of device or product development
Background in high-volume manufacturing, injection molding, and automation
