As a Principal Engineer in REA , you will be the technical authority for solution architecture and system design across our portfolio.
While the role is anchored in architecture and setting the standard for technical excellence, it is also deeply hands-on. You will work closely with teams to prototype solutions, contribute to critical code, and help them solve their most complex engineering challenges using agile practices.
Your influence will span multiple Engineering Managers (EMs) and Senior Engineering Managers (SEMs) — directly guiding the work of 3 engineering squads within tribe and shaping the direction of additional squads across the wider portfolio.

:• A clear technology strategy for your area is established, supporting its objectives and aligned with the overall REA technology strategy
.• Technology solutions within your area are consistently delivered in alignment with the established strategy and REA’s architectural principles
.• Actionable plans are developed and actively pursued to improve system health within your area, in accordance with the REA System Framework
