For our client, we are seeking a Principal Embedded Software Engineer - Analog Connectivity to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will shape high-impact initiatives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution. You will partner across technical and business teams to turn complex ideas into scalable solutions and meaningful outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both roadmap priorities and long-term organizational capability.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $184,500 – $205,000 annually

Responsibilities

Own the complete firmware stack for analog connectivity products
Design and implement embedded firmware for complex analog subsystems
Architect calibration algorithms and control flow for analog tuning
Establish software quality gates and validation criteria
Help recruit and hire engineers for your team
Lead your team through design, implementation, and debugging activities
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project updates and support

Qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
10+ years of embedded C/C++ firmware development in resource-constrained environments
Proven track record as a Technical Lead or Team Lead on embedded projects from architecture through production
Deep understanding of microcontroller architecture and bare-metal firmware design
Solid experience with analog control loops and adaptive algorithms
Strong proficiency with Linux development tools and scripting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
