Our client is a U.S.-based clean energy technology company focused on developing advanced hardware and software solutions that improve the safety, performance, and efficiency of solar and energy storage systems. The company develops innovative power electronics, energy monitoring, and storage technologies used across residential, commercial, and utility-scale applications, and they’re looking to expand their engineering team.

Senior Power Electronics Engineer
Overview
Seeking an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to lead the design, development, and commercialization of high-power electronic products. This role will take products from concept through high-volume manufacturing while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Design and develop high-power electronic hardware and power conversion systems.
Create proof-of-concept designs, prototypes, and production-ready products.
Perform circuit analysis, simulation, testing, and validation.
Support product development from design through manufacturing.
Drive design-for-manufacturing (DFM) initiatives.
Troubleshoot and optimize hardware performance.
Requirements
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.
5–15 years of experience in power electronics design.
Experience with Altium Designer or similar PCB design tools.
Strong analog circuit design experience.
Experience designing DC/DC converters.
Experience taking products from concept to production.
Proficiency with PSpice and/or MATLAB.
Knowledge of grid-tied inverters and power conversion systems.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred
Experience with:
Power supplies
Solar/PV inverters
Electric vehicles
EV charging systems
Digital power design

Additional Requirements
Able to work onsite five days per week.
Comfortable working in a hands-on laboratory environment.
