What you will be doing:
Automotive development and testing of Powertrain Control Units
Writing hardware and software specifications
Performing confirmation testing on the actual vehicle and simulator
Troubleshooting and fixing related problems
Software functional data analysis and report generation
Working with component suppliers and other departments to resolve technical issues
Make technical decisions with moderate supervision
Able to work with a team or on an individual basis to reach project goals
Other responsibilities also include researching new technologies and market trends and making proposals for future products
What you'll need to be successful:
Requires a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar
Strong knowledge of electrical hardware and software development
Interest in the automotive field and experience in the use of electronic measuring equipment and electrical troubleshooting experience
Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint / Vector tools: CANalyzer, CANape / ETAS: INCA)
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
Ability to travel and work overtime may be required
